I’m a massage therapist at Wollaston Chiropractic Clinic. Previous to this I have worked at the clinic for 3 years as a Chiropractic Assistant (and you will still find me behind reception on some days!). During this time, I have gained knowledge on how the body works, the benefits of Chiropractic care and more recently how massage can aid and support this treatment. Also, having received Chiropractic care for many years before working at the clinic I have first-hand experience of it, and the advantages this can bring to your lifestyle. I particularly enjoy helping people with low back pain or shoulder and neck pain. I always endeavour to give the correct amount of pressure. Enough to give good results, but not enough to make the massage too uncomfortable.
I have always had an interest in massage, and believe in the many benefits it holds. I looked into enrolling on a massage course around 10 years ago but life took me in other directions. Working for Wollaston Chiropractic Clinic has brought me full circle back to this interest, so attending an annual conference last year gave me the inspiration I needed to finally go ahead and start the career I had dreamed about. I am now qualified in level 3 sports massage and hold a sports first aid certificate. I am a fully affiliated member of, and insured by, the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
It is a pleasure to know that I can help people with their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. This has motivated me to further my training, adding hot stones massage and Indian head massage to my list of courses to attend in the very near future.
I look forward to seeing you in the clinic very soon!
